Workshops, business to business meetings and a fair exhibition

In
the framework of the Forum de Solidarités Nord-Sud on December
1-3 in Marseille, France, Planet Finance will also be organizing
the event Nepal - Enterprise, Everest and Everything Else.
The event is under Planet Finance's Nepal micro investIT project,
co-financed by the European Commission's Asia Invest II Programme,
which aims at creating business opportunities between Nepali
micro entrepreneurs and European Market in six selected subsectors
namely hand made Lokta paper, tourism, natural fibers based products,
thangka painting, dried edible products and handicrafts. The
agenda embraces three workshops), a fair exhibition of Nepali
products and business meetings between Nepali micro entrepreneurs
(MEs) and European clients.
Aiming
at building a platform for discussions of most relevant areas
in which microfinance can play a decisive role worldwide and also
for the generation of business to business linkage, the event
will have the participation of a delegation of 20 MEs from
Nepal, microfinance and development experts, international
funding agencies, government representatives and European craft
business men.
